To further international collaboration, the Foundation has organized international conferences on differentiation therapy designed to bring together investigators from around the world in an effort to communicate their findings for the benefit of the entire scientific community. These conferences are a major forum for the exploration of the newest developments in differentiation therapy.
All Foundation supported research programs are reviewed annually. The review is conducted by an independent, external committee of eminent scientists who critique the research and assess the merits of the work for further funding, as well as the demonstration of collaboration.
It is the Foundation's hope that the groundbreaking work conducted with its support will lead to site-specific treatments for all cancers, and will ultimately contribute to the prevention and cure of the disease by blocking the spread of cancer.
