Eli Il Yong Lee is a consultant who has survived over 25 years of executive leadership, issue advocacy and progressive political campaigns. Raised in Kansas City and a former New Yorker as well, Eli will be running in his second marathon; his first since understanding the concept of starting slow. He is excited to run with Team Waxman because of its relentless and aggressive commitment to research and defeating cancer. Eli serves on a variety of boards and was a longtime board member of the Andrew Goodman Foundation, founded by his mentor, Dr. Carolyn Goodman, the mother of murdered Civil Rights worker Andrew Goodman. Columbia University reluctantly graduated him in 1990. Eli remains Korean American and is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
