Help improve treatment options for young adults
Membership in the Society runs Jan.1 – Dec. 31. There are two tiers to Society membership:
Council Members
Council members are required to:
- Pay annual dues of $350
- Participate in 10 out of 12 monthly Society meetings either in-person or via phone
- Sell 20 tickets for the Society's annual Spring for a Cure
- Fundraise for the Millennial Society
- Secure auction items for fundraising events and raise awareness about the SWCRF
Benefits include a discounted ticket to Millennial Society fundraising events, a tour of a lab of a Foundation-supported investigator, an invitation to the Foundation's annual board meeting at the Scientific Review, a cocktail party with Michael Nierenberg, Board Chair, Samuel Waxman, Scientific Director, and other members of the Board of Directors. Council Members elect the Millennial Society's Executive Committee and approve new Society Members.
Society Members
Members are elected by the Council Members. Society Members are required to:
- Pay annual dues of $150
- Participate in one of the Millennial Society's subcommittees
- Participate in four meetings throughout the year via phone or in person
- Support the Society through attendance at fundraising events
- Sell tickets to events
- Secure auction items
