St. John greeted more than 100 stylish attendees to a live fashion show and cocktail reception at its stunning Fifth Avenue boutique on October 7. The event was designed to benefit the SWCRF’s breast cancer research programs during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. St. John held a similar event on October 6 at its beautiful store in Manhasset.
Jason Mabel, General Manager of the St. John New York boutique, delivered opening remarks and welcomed SWCRF Founder and CEO Dr. Samuel Waxman, who provided an overview of the SWCRF's work to guests. Attendees were also captivated by the heartfelt testimonial of Sherrie Granger, a breast cancer survivor. Afterward, St. John fashion expert Deborah Arthur provided commentary during the fashion show of the house's Fall 2015 collection.

St. John donated twenty percent of the proceeds from sales at both events, and for several days thereafter, in support of the Waxman Foundation’s breast cancer research.
St. John is just one of the notable names in the fashion industry that have lent their support for the SWCRF, which has honored Tadashi Shoji, Betsey Johnson, Nicole Miller and Cushnie et Ochs at their popular fundraising events in the past two years. On November 12, distinguished menswear designer John Varvatos will be honored at the Waxman Foundation’s 18th annual “Collaborating for a Cure” Gala benefit at Cipriani Wall Street.
