Over 600 guests came out to support the Millennial Society of the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation and their 4th Annual Spring for a Cure. Held at the Puck Building in Manhattan on Friday, April 9th, the event was co-chaired by Alissa Jacob and Joanna Steinberg and raised more than $100,000. Notable attendees included Top Chef Sam Talbot and Gossip Girl’s Zuzanna Szadkowski. Special guests were Hillary Gozigian and Harrie Bakst who shared their moving and inspiring stories during the evening’s program.
The evening featured food courtesy of Baohaus, Cheeky, Dell’Anima and L’Artusi as well as music from DJ Nick Cohen and auction prizes including a private breakfast with Nouriel Roubini, a round of golf at Baltusrol, assorted lifestyle packages, dinners at the Waverly Inn and La Esquina.
The Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation is an international organization dedicated to curing and preventing cancer. The Foundation is a pioneer in cancer research, focusing on uncovering the causes of cancer and reprogramming cancer cells. The Millennial Society brings together young professionals from across the city to raise funds for this cutting-edge work.
