Why Become an SWCRF Collaborator? 

• Cancer touches us all: Unfortunately, you or someone you love had, has, or will have cancer. In fact, the lifetime risk of developing invasive cancer is an astounding 1 in 2 for men and 1 in 3 for women.
• Research saves lives: The only way we are going to eradicate cancer is by investing in groundbreaking cancer research, such as the research funded by SWCRF
• The rising incidence of cancer: Although cancer can occur at any age, it is now more understood as a disease of aging. And with an increasingly aging population, the global burden of cancer rising exponentially.
• More work needs to be done: Decades of progress have expanded treatment options, increased prevention methods, and created effective screening tools, all of which are decreasing overall cancer mortality rates; however, cancer continues to be a leading cause of death in the U.S. and around the world...
