Tadashi Shoji, one of America’s favorite contemporary fashion designers, will again partner with the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation (SWCRF) in support of World Cancer Day on February 4, 2018. This marks the fourth year of Tadashi Shoji’s participation in the SWCRF Pay It Forward fundraising campaign.
To help raise funds for research, Tadashi Shoji created an exclusive cosmetic bag in support of SWCRF. The cosmetic bag’s floral print was inspired by the brand’s Fall/Winter 2017 runway collection while its purple and black color story pays tribute to the World Cancer Day’s universally recognized color palette. Tadashi Shoji will also include a rollerball of his perfume, Eau de Rose, with each cosmetic bag purchased.

“Helping to find a cure for cancer is a cause that is near to my heart. The Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation has done so much good for so many people, and it is an honor to partner with them on their mission to finally put an end to this disease," said Tadashi Shoji. "This year, I will stand proudly with SWCRF and support World Cancer Day by donating 20% of the total amount raised from the purchase of my limited edition cosmetic bag and rollerball.”
“It is a great pleasure to collaborate with Tadashi Shoji once again on Pay It Forward,” said Dr. Samuel Waxman, founder and CEO of the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation. “Tadashi was the first designer to support this annual fashion industry fundraiser for our research and we are very grateful to him for his ongoing support and friendship in the fight against cancer.”
From February 4 through March 4, the limited-edition bag and rollerball will be available for $45.00 USD at Tadashi Shoji boutiques in Pennsylvania, Virginia, California and Nevada as well as on www.tadashishoji.com with 20 percent of the proceeds going directly to help fund SWCRF cancer research.
